Bushcraft 101 ⌖

Learn to Live in the Wild
Bushcraft 101 is your entry point into the world of traditional wilderness living. Over the course of two full days and two nights in the bush, you’ll learn the essential skills needed to survive, thrive, and feel at home in the wild. From firecraft and shelter building to tool use, natural navigation, and wild resourcefulness—you’ll be learning by doing, not just watching.
This course is all about self-reliance, practical knowledge, and reconnecting with the land through ancestral skills and modern bushcraft methods.

Course Overview
This weekend-long course begins Saturday morning with a hike into our basecamp site. From there, we’ll dive into foundational bushcraft skills including fire by friction, knife work, cordage, camp setup, navigation, and natural resource use. Each day is packed with hands-on instruction, solo practice, and small group challenges designed to build real-world confidence.
Evenings are spent around the fire with discussion, skill demos, and optional night navigation or shelter refinement. You’ll camp on-site Saturday and Sunday night—applying what you’ve learned and living the backcountry lifestyle.

We’ll cover campcraft, wild resource use, knots, cordage, basic water procurement, and more.
By the end of the weekend, you’ll have the confidence to set up camp, stay safe, and solve problems using the materials around you—whether you’re in the boreal forest or the mountains.
