Bushcraft 101

Deepen your understanding of core bushcraft principles while crafting a fully functional bushcraft mallet, camp chair and spatula using deadfall, cordage, and simple tools.
Survival 101

Go beyond the basics with scenario-based survival problem-solving. Build an improvised A-frame shelter, create a fire under pressure, and construct a smoke signal system.
Shelter Building

Build a survival shelter with insulation and weatherproofing techniques. Students will leave with the knowledge to create shelters in varying conditions.
Friction Fire

Master bow drill and pump drill fire-making. Each student will carve their own custom bow drill set, learn tinder bundle construction, and create fire using natural materials.
Primitive Pottery

Harvest and process wild clay, form a functional vessel using coil or pinch methods, and fire it using an open pit. Learn how to waterproof pottery using natural sealants.
Natural Cordage

Harvest raw materials like nettle, dogbane, or basswood bark and twist high-strength cordage. Students will complete a net bag or lash a small frame pack.
Primative Trapping

Build working figure-four and Paiute deadfall traps using hand-carved trigger systems. Learn trap placement, ethics, and tracking integration.
Coal Burned Conatiners

Create a usable wooden bowl or kuksa using coal-burning and carving techniques. We'll focus on safety, efficiency, and fine detail work vs expedient processes.
Edible Plants & Wild Foods

Fishing Without a Rod
