Do I need any experience to attend?

Nope! This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to teach practical shelter-building techniques step-by-step. All skill levels are welcome.

What should I bring?

You’ll receive a gear list upon registration. Bring outdoor clothing, lunch, water, gloves, and any basic tools you’d like to try. We provide all group gear and materials.

How long is the workshop?

It runs for a full day, typically 6–8 hours including travel time into the site, instruction, hands-on builds, and a group debrief at the end.

What kind of shelters will we build?

You’ll learn to build several types, including lean-tos, debris shelters, quick tarp setups, and emergency improvisations using natural materials.

Will we be hiking far?
